The restaurant that started it all.
Our social-gastronomy restaurant is a hands-on training space where our trainees and chefs cook and serve a seasonal menu of authentic Moroccan dishes. Located in Gueliz, the restaurant is open for lunch six days a week (closed Sundays), from noon to 3:30 pm. Friday is couscous day — the traditional Friday dish — when we welcome two to three times as many guests.

Amal is a social enterprise, 100% of what you spend here is poured straight back into our women's training. When you book a table, you're not just eating well; you're helping the next graduate find her craft.

Lunch is served 12–3:30 pm (closed Sundays). Our trainees cook a full seasonal menu of authentic Moroccan dishes from scratch — starters, mains, desserts and fresh, seasonal juices, all yours to choose from.
Come on a Friday for couscous
Like homes across Morocco, our kitchen keeps the Friday couscous tradition alive, a steaming mound of hand-rolled semolina under seven slow-cooked vegetables. It's the most beloved table of the week — our trainees serve around 220 of them every Friday — so arrive early or call ahead.
